This care pack for older horses consists of:
- Herbal Mix for Older Horses – gentle support for the skin, coat, lymphatic system, muscles and joints from within
- Mild Horse Shampoo – gentle cleansing for sensitive skin and coats
- Leg Cleaner – gentle cleansing of the legs, suitable for sensitive legs or legs that get dirty easily

How do you use this skincare set?
Internal:
Very important to know before you start using it:
Always start with a small amount to see how your horse reacts to it.
Never go over the indicated dosage.
If your horse is taking medication, always check with the vet first whether it goes with the herbs.
Not for horses with poor health.
Age recommendations for herbal remedies (and blends) for horses
Most mild herbs (such as botanical nettle, marigold, cleavers and dandelion)

Which one should I choose?
The amount depends on your horse's weight.
🍃Option 1. Complete pack, 800 grams for 6 weeks: horses weighing from 300 to 600 kg.
🍃Option 2. Complete pack: 1,200 grams for 6 weeks: horses weighing 600 kg and over
Feed schedule will be sent to you by e-mail.
The blend is supplied as loose botanical herbs for you to mix yourself. A course of treatment lasts 6 weeks, followed by a 4–6-week break. It is recommended that you alternate the herbs to provide a natural stimulus and regulate eating behaviour.
Herbal supplements do not have an immediate effect. A horse usually needs a few weeks to get used to a herbal mixture.

Green-XL Horse Shampoo
- Wash once to cleanse the skin thoroughly
- Repeat after 1 week if necessary
- Biodegradable, with probiotics
- Important note:
- The shampoo can sometimes be thinner or thicker and doesn’t lather.
- This is normal for natural products that do not contain artificial thickeners.
Green-XL Leg Cleaner
- Lightly spray on 3 times a week
- If there’s a lot of wallpaper: lift the hairs and spray underneath the socks
- Keep a close eye on the skin’s reaction during the first week
Laveos Honey Salve
- Make sure the skin is clean and dry.
- Apply a small amount of Honey Salve to your fingertips.
- Apply a thin layer to rough, dry or sensitive areas of skin.
- Gently massage in to ensure even distribution.
- If necessary, repeat daily until the skin feels supple again.
