Every horse suffers from itching from time to time. This is perfectly normal. However, if the itching persists or keeps coming back, it can cause a great deal of discomfort. In spring and summer, bites from midges (small flies) are a common cause. Horses can also suffer from itchiness in autumn and winter, for example due to their winter coat, lice, worms or a hypersensitive reaction to certain stimuli. That is why good skin care is important all year round.

This pack is suitable for horses that are prone to itching or have sensitive skin. This includes horses that rub against fencing, trees or the stable, or that regularly suffer from skin irritation. The combination of topical care and herbal remedies makes this pack ideal for a comprehensive care regime.

How do you use this pack?
- Wash the horse with Green XL Horse Shampoo in accordance with the instructions for use.
- Apply the Anti-Chafing Spray to the sensitive areas every day.
- Apply the Neem ointment to dry or sensitive skin as and when necessary.
- Feed the HorseFlex Kriebelmix daily in accordance with the feeding guide provided.
How do you use this skincare set?
Very important to know before you start using it:
- Always start with a small amount to see how your horse reacts to it.
- Never go over the indicated dosage.
- If your horse is taking medication, always check with the vet first whether it goes with the herbs.
- Safety first, which is why it is better not to give herbs when your horse is pregnant.

Suitable for adult horses and ponies. For foals or young horses, it is advisable to seek advice from a vet or nutritionist before use.
How to use the HorseFlex Kriebelmix
Add the HorseFlex Kriebelmix to your horse’s feed every day, following the dosage instructions on the packet. Gradually increase the amount so that your horse can get used to the taste. The mix is ready to use and does not need to be mixed with other herbs.
External use
Horse Shampoo
Very important: Always test the shampoo on a small patch of skin first to see how your horse reacts to it.
Usage:
Wet the coat thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water. Then apply Green-XL Horse Shampoo and massage it in well so that it reaches the skin. For horses with a lot of undercoat or a thick coat, it is important to lift the hair so that the shampoo actually reaches the skin.
Leave the shampoo to work for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
In principle, wash your horse once a week. If one treatment isn’t enough, or if the symptoms are persistent, you can repeat the treatment the following week. As soon as the skin shows visible signs of recovery, you can gradually reduce the frequency of treatment and only use it when necessary.
Anti-scuff spray (for external use, 500 ml)
Spray a small amount onto the desired area of skin, mane or tail.
If necessary, gently spread the spray by hand or with a soft brush.
Use the spray as part of the daily external care routine for horses with itchy, flaky skin.
Ointment (50 ml)
For small, sensitive areas
Apply a thin layer 1–2 times a day
Gentle, nourishing and mild on the skin
