A gentle blend of herbs that fits into the daily care routine for horses with sensitive skin. It supports overall skin balance and complements external care perfectly. -
Shampoo for sensitive skin
A gentle shampoo that helps keep the skin and hooves clean without drying them out. Ideal for gently removing dirt, mud and build-up. -
Healing ointment (replaces Skin Repair)

How do you use this skincare set?
For internal use:
Very important to know before you start using it:
- Always start with a small amount to see how your horse reacts to it.
- Never exceed the recommended dose
- If your horse is taking medication, always check with the vet first to see if it is safe to combine it with herbal remedies.
- Safety first, which is why it is better not to give herbs when your horse is pregnant.
- The amount depends on your horse's weight.
Age recommendations for herbal remedies (and blends) for horses
- Most mild herbs (such as botanical nettle, marigold, cleavers and dandelion)
- Suitable from 12 months
- Introduce in small quantities
- Strongly active herbs (such as botanical garlic, comfrey, and herbs containing bitter compounds)
- Not suitable for foals and yearlings
- Suitable for children aged 2.5 to 3 years and over
❌ Do not use if:
- Pregnant mares
- Very young foals (< 6 months)
- Horses with liver or kidney problems (unless advised by a vet)
Dosage and duration
Which one should I choose?
The amount depends on your horse's weight.
🍃Option 1. Total pack of 800 grams for 6 weeks: horses weighing from 300 to 600 kg.
🍃Option 2. Total pack of 1,000 grams for 6 weeks: horses weighing 600 kg and over
Feed schedule will be sent to you by e-mail.
The blend is supplied as loose botanical herbs for you to mix yourself. A course of treatment lasts 6 weeks, followed by a 4–6-week break. It is recommended that you alternate the herbs to provide a natural stimulus and regulate eating behaviour.
Herbal supplements do not have an immediate effect. A horse usually needs a few weeks to get used to a herbal mixture.
External use:
1. Green XL Horse Shampoo for the whole body.

This ointment intensively nourishes and cares for the skin and supports its natural ability to heal. It helps to keep the skin soft and can be soothing for horses suffering from itching caused by insects.
Tip: Test the product on a small patch of skin first. Every horse is different!

We are occasionally asked: The consistency of our Green XL shampoo can vary slightly. Sometimes the shampoo has a slightly thinner texture, whilst at other times it feels more gel-like.
These differences are perfectly normal and arise because our shampoo is a natural product, made with minimal processing and without any artificial thickeners. The quality and effectiveness remain the same, of course – gentle on your hair and kind to the environment. The shampoo does not lather either.
