Mucus in horses – what you need to know
Hippalgo Mok Cream has been specially developed for the care of sensitive skin in the pastern area of the horse. Mud fever is often caused by a combination of moisture, dirt and chafing, and can lead to scabbing, redness and irritation. This gentle yet effective cream helps to cleanse, soothe and repair the skin.

Instructions for use:
Gently cleanse the affected area, dry it thoroughly and then apply a thin layer of cream. Repeat daily or as required.

- Sensitive skin or a weakened immune system
- Genetic susceptibility
- Possible signs
- Itching or a lot of leg rubbing
- Scabs and flakes
- Open sores or red patches of skin
- Hair loss on the lower legs
- Care for legs prone to varicose veins
You can support your skin by:
- Keep your legs clean and dry every day
- Opt for mild, nourishing, natural-based products
- In some cases, this can be supplemented with a tailored diet or herbs
- If in doubt, always consult your vet
- By taking prompt action when you notice signs such as itching, flaking or scabs, you can prevent the condition from getting worse and help the skin to heal.
Use mug cream: Apply layer to the areas to be treated. Repeat this process daily for as long as needed. Max. 14 days then let rest for 1 week.
